A Benefit Event to Support the One Journey Festival, helping change the dialogue about refugees in America - co-hosted by National Community Church.

Please join One Journey for part III of our FREE three-part film series about the global refugee crisis. This is Home, an award winning film, takes an intimate look at four Syrian families tring to resettle in Baltimore and find their footing. They’re aided by the International Rescue Committee, helping to rebuild the families' lives. This is Home was most recently honored with the Sundance World Cinema Documentary Audience Award.

The free screening will be followed by a panel of former refugees and industry supporters - one of which includes one of the Syrian family members portrayed in the film. Given the large refugee population surrounding the DMV region, our panelists will be sharing real life stories and challenges that they've experienced in their new host communities.
